Lowering springs & shocks

Hi all

Have a 2013 2.0 TDI. Lowered it with -35mm h&r springs a few years ago now. Been fine until recently. Unfortunately the standard shocks have given up. Was inevitable really. Im in the market to upgrade again.

I'm happy with the drop from the h&r's so assuming the springs are in good order what shocks can I pair them with? I'd like something suited to the shorter springs rather than going oem.

I'm not interested in coilovers before anyone suggests them. I don't wanna pay a fortune to get the ride comfort I want on the roads I use. Shocks & springs are fine
