Motorised tailgate problems.

Hi all….
My boot is only partially opening.
Weirdly I noticed yesterday that the rear wiper and heater were not working, and then the tailgate when I went to open the boot.

Today the rear wiper is working again but the tailgate partially opens on the internal release and not at all on the boot open.

It does auto close weirdly…

Not sure where to start looking to fix it.
I firstly assumed a fuse had blown but not so sure now.

Anyone got any ideas/ experience of this?

Did you scan for fault codes?

Not yet. I don’t have the equipment. I am leaning towards failed rear struts actually.
