Drive pulled sheared off!

Hi all,

I had an alternator fault appear on dash, looks like the drive pulley has sheared off.

I’ve got the RAC coming out on monday to replace the alternator.

Will they need to replace the drive pulley and belt too or does it usually come with the alternator?

I'd suggest they do the tensioner & it will need a new belt tbh, cheap enough.

But why did the pulley shear off.
