Recently picked up a B9.5 RS4. It came with DRC so I’ve spend far too long trawling forum pages trying to understand what’s normal. It’s a 2021 car with 14k miles.

It rides brilliantly but no doubt there is a subtle knocking/clunking sounds at low speeds. From looking online some people (especially Audi dealers) suggest this is normal for DRC while others say it should be silent and is likely linked to the central control valve.

Although the noise doesn’t bother me, I’m keen to verify the system is working as intended and not faulty. I suspect Audi will be of little help so my plan is to get a local specialist (link below) to service the system and advise on any issues. If there is something that needs sorting I’ll take to Audi direct as it’s still covered by a full warranty.

Interesting to hear from other owners who have experience with DRC - is there logic behind my approach, or should I just leave it alone?

I believe Audi will only cover it under warranty if the valves or regulators are faulty If pressure is low they will charge to have it repressurised
