Hi guys!

I have purchased an aftermarket head unit to my Bose system S3.
After i installed it, everything worked well (rear speakers, subwoofer), but i had a really annoying alternator whine.
So i purchased ground loop isolators, connected them. Now i don't have the alternator whine finally, but my bose subwoofer is not working.

Any ideas how can I make it work?
Thanks!

Disconnect the isolators and connect the rca cables together again, if the sub comes back then you know it's the isolator. Is your isolator 12v powered?

Can you post a picture of your isolators.

If I disconnect the isolators then I get the annoying alternator whine back, but my subwoofer is working.
I got my isolators form aliexpress, there are the specs: 2 rca male, 2 female connector. Current rating: 20A, Rated input: 30W, PK input: 60W, 12V

So definitely the isolators then, i think whats happening is they are cutting off the lower frequency range.
I can't remember which ones i used, as it was a few years ago when i installed my 3rd party headunit.

This should do the trick: https://xtrons.co.uk/harness-adapter-ak-inib-nrcbl

All so (but i don't know if it's necessary) I disconnected the Gala microphone located in the front roof lights.
