Roof tailgate grommet help

I've just run a cable through the roof tailgate grommet and can't get the grommet back in, I've applied silicon grease to it for lubrication but still no joy.

Any tips?

I've done it now, but if anybody comes here looking for the answer.

Remove the C piler cover on that side so you can get your hand up to the wiring harness, poke some paracord or simular through the hole.
Then wrap it around the groove in the grommet and pull.
