I have been hoping to buy an Audi A3 1.6L 30 TDI 116 S-tronic and have questions around servicing of the semi automatic gearbox.
I test drove a 2018 A3 with 61k miles (drove like a dream) However it has no history of the gearbox ever being serviced, which makes me nervous.
Online information seems to vary wildly from 'The gearbox should be serviced every 40k miles' to 'The gearbox might not need serviced depending on if it has a wet/dry clutch'
Is there a way to workout if the gearbox on any particular A3 will require servicing?
