I have for sale my 2006 Audi A4 Quattro DTM Edition in sprint blue. This car is a limited edition to celebrate Audi’s land slide win in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters Championship. This was limited to 250 cars, 60 of which were in sprint blue. This car was built in the same factory as the R8, RS6, RS5 and RS4.
I have owned the car for the last 9 years and only selling it as I have too many cars and this one gets used the least (only 300 miles in the past year). I love driving it however every time I do drive it I'm tempted not to sell it. It’s a shame for this car to be sat around not being used.

Technical Spec
- 2 litre Turbocharged 4 cylinder engine
- Permanent Quattro 4 wheel drive system with a 50/50 split front to rear
- Standard the engine produces 220bhp giving a 0-60 in 6.9 seconds and a top speed of 153mph.
- This car has had a Revo stage one map and a few other modifications (mentioned below) taking it to around 300bhp, 0-60 is around low 5 seconds and top speed is faster than most roads will allow.
- The side mount intercoolers have been replaced with a large front mounted intercooler
- A Pipercross panel is replaces the standard Audi item
- Rear anti roll bar has been replaced with an RS4 item
- Car sits on H&R lowered spring with Audi A4 B5 cups
- Exhaust has been replaced with a Miltek Cat back stainless steel item with the front pipe being replaced recently for a new item.
- Brembo front cross drilled discs and Brembo solid rear discs replaced a few years ago and have very little mileage on them.

- 18 inch 15 spoke alloys wheels with 235/40R18 Michelin Pilot sport tyres with plenty of tread on them. Full size brand new spare wheel.
- Bespoke Audi DTM front bumper with Carbon Fibre front splitter with additional air intakes and the standard chrome grill replaced with a stealth black item
- Bespoke Audi DTM rear bumper with motorsport inspired rear diffuser and red towing eye
- Door Mirrors in Phantom Black paint
- Carbon Fibre rear boot spoiler

Interior
- RS4 Recaro Seats finished in Half Leather and Alcantara with the front seats being fully electric for all movements including lumbar adjustment. Front seats have storage under the seat and nets on the back of them

Over the years of ownership I’ve spent over £3000 on maintaining the vehicle including but not limited to the following
- Servicing using only Genuine filters and Mobile 1 fully synthetic oil
- Full Brembo front and rear brakes and pads
- Full replacement of fuel system parts including Audi R8 Coil packs, high and low pressure fuel pumps, fuel filters and high pressure regulator
- Regular replacement of tires with Michelin Pilot sport items when needed one of only two tires recommended for the DTM (the other being Dunlop Sport Max’s which I do not like)
- Cam Chain replacement (96,000 miles)
Points of interest
To be honest the car is great, body work and mechanically sound. The only bits that I would sort out if I was to keep the car are the wheels, which do need a refurb. Also there is a part of the rear wheel arch that someone caught in a car park last year, no damage to the paintwork and I’ve not had chance to get a dent to sort it out yet, it’s barely noticeable till it’s pointed out. This is a very quick car capable of being a comfortable cruiser which can get 35mpg + on the motorway.
These are fast becoming very rare especially in sprint blue and a decent one is hard to find. I looked at 6 other sprint blue wrecked DTM’s before I found this one and last time I looked underneath it was very clean for the age.
Selling for £7500 ono.
Test pilots need not apply especially if you are not used to a 300bhp car.
