A4/S4 and S3 mirrors.

Are these the same part number? (1999 A4 and 2002 S3).

I've found some 2002 S3 mirror casings for sale in the correct colour and I just wondered if they'd fit B5 A4 units,.................then I can finally ditch the chavvy M3 mirrors that somebody fitted to my S4 lol

And I'm guessing S3 mirrors either wouldn't fit or would look stupid on an S4?

They wouldn't look stupid on a B5, no.

They just won't fit.
The mounting points look similar, but are very different.

ive got 04 plate s4 mirrors on my face lift a3 so the casings fit

04 S4 is a B6 chassis.

It may be possible to fit the casing to the mounting stem, but that's about it.

The 8L stems do not fit a B5.

A3 / S3 mirror covers will fit A4 / S4's of the same year, the a3's also had the '99 facelift.
I currently have my old mirror covers from my S3 on my S4

So you'll need to buy B5 mirrors of the right year, to transfer the S3 casings to.
