Driveshaft question.

Evening all I need to get a couple of driveshafts for my 98 A3 1.8t sport.
I've managed to find a pair but there from a 2000 1.6, so my question is will they fit ???

I think the thickness of the drive shafts different on some different models mate, due to power outputs, so I'd check if they look the same first. Other than that, I'm fairly sure the length and fitment will be OK.

I know for sure the shafts on my mates 180bhp 2001 leon are WAY thicker than those on my 98 150bhp A3
