Window Chrome

Hi,

Has anyone had the Chrome around the windows on there A4's painted black.. Pic's, prices and opinions would be great..

Mine are black stock and i like it ,
but never having needed to do it no idea on the disadvantages only the obvious if it gets chipped its going to look nasty.

Richardesty in the B7 section has just done his with electrical tape - looks good, time will tell on how it wears.

Only problem with electrical tape is the heat will get to it eventually .

Yes I'm sure it won't last forever. You can buy special trim tape though which is specifically designed to dechrome trim and should be better :icon_thumright:
