Well all i can say is hopefuly i never have to do that again. Started at 5 at headed home at 12! Could def be done alot quicker next time round bout what **** of a job. Thanks to tuffty after searching some posts. I had to laugh though, after deciding the only answer was to destroy the flexi to split the pipe in two, i cam across my air chisel, then read thats exactly what tuffty had done haha.
I had a bit of a time trying to find the best way to do it, so heres a quick how to from my tired mind.
o/s whell of and you will be able to see the 3 nuts to the turbo, and remove the drive shaft to allow access.
I got 2 from the arch and 1 from above.
Grind of the bolts connecting the DP to the Cat and seperate.
Sounds brutal but hack the flexi on the DP until you have 2 DPs and pull the bottom out the bottom and the top out the arch.
Loosen the sub frame and dogbone to allow movement and the 3 bolts for the prop shaft nd move to one side.
This the allows you to put the new DP through the bottom and into place.
Then its pretty much a reverse procedure.
If i have forgotten anything feel free to add. Apart from that, im very pleased with it, can really hear the turbo now
