Post Pics Of Your A3/S3 8v In Here

looking Red Hot Dave...lol as for the orange peel effect if doesnt bother you all the better.

David don't worry about it there is nothing wrong with your paint, it's in way better shape than 90% of other manufacturers. Just how it is now adays.

Audi's seem very prone to BAD orange peel effect especially on the rear panels,l have a white Focus ST3 MK3 with not a bit of orange peel on it,same With my RCZ

Thats just due to the white colour, VAG group do use a higher micron of paint level and higher pressure on the automated systems than Ford and double that of Peugeot. Nothing beats a hand finish though and no one does that nowadays only the top end boys. You would get a heavier finish on an exclusive car mind but that's what your paying for. Regardless though you can get all this detailed out for a few hundred pounds and it never comes back.

I liken it to ironing, you don't need to iron a T-shirt it looks ok straight on but if you want to be perfect then it can be ironed. 90% of people that saw you though would just be thinking oh look a t-shirt and never tell the difference either way. Only you know,

7 weeks!

How the hell did you manage that 'lucky' Madmo?:laugh::laugh:

Did you see the pic on Aberdeen Audi's facebook page?
I don't live in Aberdeen

Yeah, wife pointed out that there was one on the page. For the amount of cars on the page there don't seem to be many people from Aberdeen area on here showing them off :)

Don't regret. enjoy. S3's come in all different shapes and sizes but all are the same pedigree at the end of the day.

Ok regret is a strong word, I don't really regret buying mine, it has all the spec I wanted and I always wanted a panther black car, (I was tempted to order my A6 in it, but was being tight to stump up the extra cash!) But, the saloon does look special imo, especially in Sepang Blue!!

Marc, I wish I could have the width of wheels you've got on the rear of yours - but can't as have 4wd. I'm not going to lie, your car was my inspiration for buying the ST9's! I was toying with getting Vossen CVT's which I think are one of the nicest designs i've ever seen, but at £2600 for a set I couldn't justify them and they would have to have been 20's which would have ruined the ride!!

Need to sort the grille out on mine next and get it lowered, but need to pay off some of the credit card first : (

For the price I don't think you can look past the stuttgarts, a lot of wheel for the money. I got a quote on some vossens for mine to use as show wheels and it came to £5500 ha. Maybe next year.
The 9.5 rears weren't easy to fit tbh, I've had to order two smaller tyres as I've melted off a load of the paint on One side :(
