i had a new battery put on my 06 2.0 tdi yesterday and as i pulled away noticed i had no brakes and a very hard brake peddle. battery was then removed and then reinstalled. i now have brakes but the brake peddle is now spongy. any ideas?

Dont have to bleed brakes...... i started life at halfords. We arent all bad definetly worth a complaint to store manager. But having said that a good driver always tests brakes on set off to make sure they have some
