Well you never know, the UK government could make it even stricter than EU.

Also a nice Floret Silver RS3 Saloon. I'll hopefully get something similar next year but with red brakes and privacy glass.

Boring.

I am bored with all of the exhaust note ********. All the cars are out there, if you want a PFL, buy one and you can now save £15k at least compared to the FL.

However, the FL is the better car by a country mile. While this forum seems to focus on exhaust overrun noise only, I am more interested in grip, turn in, roll out and torque.

Unfortunately for FL owners it confirms what we all know ... FL better in every respect other than noise.

Nope not a country mile better, small margins at best.

You don't have to watch the videos. You don't have to read the comments about the videos. You don't have to be on this forum.

The only area where the FL is noticeably better is the handling. The PFL and FL are fundamentally the same car. The platform, gearbox, looks, interior, performance etc etc.
 
More boredom. Shame its winter otherwise I could look out of the window and watch the grass grow.

Armytrix got an RS3 FL exhaust and somehow made it sound worse. It looks worse too.



There's also this stock RS3 beating a Stage 1 A45 and a Charger SRT

Which makes sense. The M2 recorded 7:58 with decent driver on a magazine. I thought 12 sec is alot.
 
That Armytrix exhaust sounds rubbish. And I bet they're charging a fortune for it.

Because it was in sport-mode, not manual mode:) It only flashes when in manual

Not sure why but I've noticed that the FL sounds louder in the snow videos I've seen.
 
You know what mate your right it does sound just as loud and good as the PFL. Maybe putting extra miles on the engine and exhaust system allows the pops and crackles to be more noticeable that or it’s been modified either way it sounds good. And yes this is coming from a PFL owner:tearsofjoy::sunglasses:

My FL now has 1600 miles on it and it definetly sounds louder than when it first arrived with just 50miles on it.

Definitely better sounding than the Armytrix imo.

Not hard to be better than the Armytrix lol. That sounded quite similar to the normal exhaust, not worth it over the sports exhaust imo.

Not a fan of this, i’d rather wait on the Akrapovic exhaust coming 2018. Expensive but hope it will be worth it. I guess due to emissions, this will be the way for Audi Sport to have it sound properly. Might even have the pops back as well, but that is just a wild guess.

Really enjoying the FL sound thought, especially the occasional loud back. Inconsistent but higly addictive, downshifting for the motherland!
