Just curious about the percentage of people here who have an A3/S3/RS3. Also curious about your engine type if you've got an A3, so feel free to comment your engine type and any extras.
I was going to but I thought it’d create a bit more of a discussion If I left it out, plus I wanted to keep it simplewhy not add an extra 3 options to the SE, Sport and s-Line so we can see who has diesel or petrol too?
One of the very first A3 sedan facelifts. 1.4tfsi COD S-line
A3 8V Facelift Limousine
Its really a great engine. You can drive sporty with it but also very economic. I changed my throttle response so it drives even betterI had a Q2 when my A3 when in for an ECU update, I've always slightly preferred diesel for the torque factor but I loved the 1.4TFSI, crazy how they get 150bhp out of a tiny engine.
1.6L TDI A3 Black Edition.. Odd combination
2018 S3 Saloon.
I predict that S3 will be the runaway winner in this vote.
I am the same....rarely see another S3 on the road, but there are loads of owners on here.Yeah, I was expecting a good amount of S3's but I'm quite surprised how many there are on here in comparison to A3's, I rarely see an S3 on the road.

A3 Saloon 1.6 TDi S Line. Nice to see a fellow 1.6 TDi owner! Feels like I'm the only one and everyone has a much faster engine than me.. haha
Haha would've loved a 2.0 but insurance not so much.. plus it was £4k cheaper so who could've said no to thatA3 Saloon 1.6 TDi S Line. Nice to see a fellow 1.6 TDi owner! Feels like I'm the only one and everyone has a much faster engine than me.. haha

Either you live somewhere where crime and car crashes never happen, or your policy has you as a named driver... I’m 25, 8yr NCD, no faults etc, no points, and I’m just over £400/yr in a safe post code areaHow much is it to insure? The 8V I'm going to collect Tuesday is a 2.0 TDI and I can get a decent insurance quote on it, and I'm only a 19 year old student.
2017 FL S3 - rarer 3 door
Lucky!!! now that solely depends on your point of view lolLucky. I hate that they got rid of 3dr.

£1.1k provisional for the 1.6L, will be about £2.2k full once I've passed my test. I'm 17 and the full insurance will be with a blackboxHow much is it to insure? The 8V I'm going to collect Tuesday is a 2.0 TDI and I can get a decent insurance quote on it, and I'm only a 19 year old student.
I feel your pain. Have you tried going direct with some people? My first year directline were the cheapest by a large portion (£1.1k Vs £1.4k). With a black box. Similarly admiral do a policy where you only need to have it for 3 months.£1.1k provisional for the 1.6L, will be about £2.2k full once I've passed my test. Called everywhere for 2L and it was either about £4-6k or an invalid quote.

Yeah is a bizarre one. Many won't insure me either on an 2017 S3. 20 yrs old.Tried contacting a load. Fairly sure DirectLine weren't even interested. Admiral wanted £5k on my family's insurance too. Bizarre, I live in a really safe neighborhood and 1.6L isn't even that big of an engine.
