Used bar keepers friend to clean and polish the tail pipes.
Add a bit of water to it to make a paste.
Leave to dry and buff off.

First attempt in polishing the car with a DA polisher today. WOW what a difference!

Used G3 clay mitt and had some megs ultimate compound to use up and megs ultimate liquid wax to try.

The polish went on great, just used a small amount on the pad. Set the speed to 4 and off l went. Would have liked to do the whole car without stopping but it was taking longer than expected so a few panels at a time then buffed off.
Straight away could see and feel the difference than my mere human hand. But the manual hand was still needed for the sills and curved parts of the bodywork etc.
Time to change the disc and apply the liquid wax to the pad. Lowered the speed to 3 and again went smoothly and was proving good results. It did use more wax up and this was noticeable when l came to washing the discs.
Could have squeezed half a bottle of wax back out of the disc. It really soaked it up. So maybe not the best wax to use with this DA.
Thought it would be quicker than by hand but took the same amount of time.
Great machine and did a superb job. So will definitely be using it to polish. Will have to research my next wax application. Sure l will find it on this forum.
Here are the the results. In the shade.

Tip of the machine polishing iceberg mate, wax application via a pad is best done with a paste wax as you now know lol l would say the more you research machine polishing, pads/compounds/polishes the better results you'll achieve, l would also say its the most addictive area/process of detailing a car just because of the results that can be achieved.First attempt in polishing the car with a DA polisher today. Breathe a sigh of relief
Needed to get some sort of sealant on ready for the bad weather. Mine has no ceramic coating so got this for the job.

Least had time to get its last polish on this year before it’s 4th birthday next week.
Going to put my neck on the chopping block here....and say...Go get yourself some Scholl S20 or even better some Sonax profiline perfect finish mate......you'll then up the gloss levels a few notches ....they aint expensive.....and are far more user friendly than the Megs, but l do think Daytona wears a polymer sealant better than a wax
