So I’ve upgraded my disc and ds2500 pads I was advised to do 10-15 hard stops from 75-80mph to about 50mph I’ve done this but now my brakes developed squeaking should I follow the above procedure again? Or what’s people’s recommendations thanks

I get squealing on my standard brake setup on my RS3.Maybe follow the manufacturer's procedure again.
But if it's a more track/fast road setup you are running sadly squealing is can be a downside to the setup. I've had the same issues with all my cars that have had a track based pad fitted.
Think I’m going to try againMaybe follow the manufacturer's procedure again.

also when braking from speed I get a humming noise I’ve read these are characteristics of having grooved disc can anyone confirm?

Have you noticed this different from the stock setup?
In triple figures when slowing quite quickly, especially after 2/3 of those I get the humming I am guessing you are describing... even my girlfriend picked up on it.
When I get mine done I was going to go for grooved.
