No exotic locations at this time for a photo, just a few cosmetic changes and bring it in line with it's French sister. Just waiting for the correct size black rear S3 badge to arrive. View attachment 201069 View attachment 201070 View attachment 201071
Ford Solar Gold - HalfordsChampagne...gold...??? and why not fit a oem RS grill
Ford Solar Gold - Halfords
Grill cost £100 off my friend who bought the face lift when he needed the preface lift grill and if there was a genuine RS face lift grill in black with the adaptive cruise control cut-out for under £200 at the time then maybe I would have. I can live with the solid rings mount.
Cheers I like it, some won't.Car looks cool mate. Like how you have 2 with the same sort of styling. Like how you’ve done your own thing. Props to you sir

I'm on the same struggle with the correct size black badge lmao. Ordered one but it wasn't the right size.
Thankfully the new badge should arrive at my place tomorrow morning
Got a black OEM badge from Audi this time around, hope it's worth the extra $$
Awesome! It’s worth it. I got oem rings on the back. But the ones on the hood is not. Oem is so stiff they would not follow the slight curve of the hood to lay flat. That’s the only reason i got ebay rings on the front

I washed my car today(nothing strange there), but with this car in particular I am very impressed by how shiny the paintwork continues to look.
My car is 23 months old and has had absolutely nothing done to the body other than my ordinary(but very careful ) washing, no polishing or anything.
I am wondering is this a German paint thing, or Audi specific?
It is my first for both, but I am genuinely very impressed.

Honestly I don't know if the Merc is going to happen Jassy......it will take a lot of compliance on the dealears behalf.
I have noticed the larger metallic particles visible in direct sunlight on this car.
From what I have heard German paint is thicker than most others, and so far this has been my experience....no stone chips compared with previous cars(Ford, Honda).
And like you say others are soooooo easily marked if you are not careful(which I am )

Are you seeing much of that big yellow thing up in Bonny Scotlandso best avoiding flat painted cars....especially when that big yellow thing in the sky shines on them lol
It was glorious weather until Sunday night now its back down to 10 degrees, in the mornings it's gone as low as 3 degrees.....Are you seeing much of that big yellow thing up in Bonny Scotland

What tailpipe tips do you have? Are they GT100 (100 mm)?
Yes mate. Milltek titanium GT 100mm tips. What tailpipe tips do you have? Are they GT100 (100 mm)?
Hardly any rain for a month amazingly. When it rained for the first time in ages a couple of days ago, it was lying on the surface of the lawn the ground is brick hard. Just gutted we couldn’t get out driving to enjoy it as much a normal. The upside is the car’s still clean in the garageAre you seeing much of that big yellow thing up in Bonny Scotland

2015 pre facelift. No idea about PPF filters. Only got stage 2 in October. Had an issue with the post cat lamda sensor recently and had it replaced. Local audi specialist said the reading were spot on after the sensor change, so assuming MOT will be fine.Nice one mate, did you have those PPF filters before you put on the APR sports cat?
Also are you going through MOT okay with this set up? As this is the exact same route I’m heading

Do you have a picture the rear of your car with the tips visible taken from a distance? Sorry if I missed them. I think my 90 mm tips are a little small for 24 cm wide cut out of a S3 diffuser. I like the look of mine from certain angles and dislike when I look straight from behind the car, so I consider to replace my tips with 100 mm ones or get another design.Yes mate. Thanks! Looks great on a powerful car. And they fill the cut outs well.
Car all cleaned inside and out one week after kamikaze ceramic coating applied.
