how many cars does that do? Would think at £100+ worth of grease and cleaners will do quite a few cars.

Is this directly from erWin for specifically the 8V platform ?
Cleaners, pastes and similar are considered shop supplies in my neck of the woods. A part no.is applicable to packaged items not portions of.My invoice didn’t list any part numbers - just labour
My Audi dealer is great and I would not want to lose a full Audi history for the sake of very little cash savings.
A tube of Krytox lubricant from VW is 1/2" x 4" long and cost me $35CDN. What are you talking about?how many cars does that do? Would think at £100+ worth of grease and cleaners will do quite a few cars.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but did you ever get this resolved? My S5 went into Audi on Monday due to a rattling and creaking pan roof and they are saying it’s related to a seal that has failed on the car (it’s lifting slightly) and they want £460 in parts and labour to replace it as it’s not covered under Audi used approved warranty. If that is correct then I’m fine. They changed the sunroof in February 2019 and if it’s every 2 years or every 40,000 miles it’s under both.
But they told me 20k miles. Additionally I agree that they changed the whole mechanism and it wasn’t sorted.
In all honesty I’m not looking for them to swap the whole thing again - it’s almost 3 years and I’ll probably trade it in soon - all I was asking was that they grease it and check it and if an obvious part was faulty replace it. But not the whole mechanism.
Definitely not rejected on the grounds of it not being serviced, it states in the T&C’s that sunroof assemblies and trims are exempt from the used approved warranty.Pano roof service is every 2 years so did they reject warranty on the basis of ‘not covered’ or ‘not serviced according to recommended schedule’?
Service schedule is not widely advertised as required but doesn’t get the airtime that haldex service does.
My pano roof creaked when reversing over uneven surfaces but was otherwise fine until my 2-year service when it juddered during slide opening immediately afterwards. Two further visits and they used something that looks just like moly grease (as opposed to Kytox/PTFE grease).
Despite the weight raising the car’s centre of gravity, creaks & issues, and the fact it’s a big sunroof but not really panoramic, would I have pano roof again? Every time.
You wouldn’t happen to have a copy you could put on here, would you?Nothing like. I have the full procedure in PDF form. Pretty easy.
