Pollen and gulls are soon to be finished with for the year mate l got my last S3 October 2017 and l vowed I'd never get a car again at that time of year...ye hardly see the thing come December/January .....come March l thought great time to start detailing it....how wrong was this happened anyways hope your car gets here pronto

Any ideas for where in Central Belt to get ceramic coating? (i've only ever had a detail once before in 2010!). There was a guy near St. Mirren's ground who was really kind and offered to do my cars for free when i was selling them due to illness. But he's moved somewhere. Otherwise i'd have used him.

7 weeks so far for mine, with no sign of it being on this side of the water. Last I heard was early last week that it was released and waiting on a boat, so I’d have thought it should be with the dealer in the next 2-3 weeks. Hopefully.

Well you nearly had to eat your words lol my dealer just called they have a cancelled VS tango red coming in next month. Any other colour I would of said yes but I hate red. So anyone after a VS tango red call Hereford dealership and ask for Julian
Why cry about it? If you don't want to wait go look for something else it's pretty simple do I want my nice new car now yes it would be nice but if I have to wait oh well. Or go spend more and buy one on Autotrader. If one comes up the same spec I ordered for normal (none inflated price) I will buy it. I get that, but when you make comments like I don’t care how long I wait you leave it open for comments like mine. As I said, fair play. I did a factory order of a different brand in July last year and collected in October. That was long enough for me. Sold in august this year for plenty more than I bought it for. Riding out this current storm, but then have another car in household so no big deal

That's the position I'm in I'm just using my wife's Q3 and she's using my sons car till he passes his test so that's why I'm not that bothered. I sold my 135I and got good money for it while prices are high. No one WANTS to wait longer than they have to but I also appreciate people have been waiting Alot longer than me so I'm not bothered in that sense.

Probably wise. Just don't get why people are paying £70k for a car that is clearly only worth £60k depending on model of course and even the £60k is inflated. Just madness if no one bought at that price they would be forced to lower it.

Deleted again yip they only had it available for 2 months.. l think the car is far too expensive now without an additional £2000 on top for a Smarty coloured paint lol
Is probably a no brainer to wait it out, if only to flog for a few k. Can see plenty of cancelled orders starting to come through in the coming months as costs keep rising and economy keeps tanking
I was offered the same colour in a SB some time ago as a cancelled order at Hereford but as I’m after a saloon I declined. Wasn’t offered this one tho!
Mine showed in transit ( to the port in Germany) and was at the dealers 8 days later… even the sales lad couldn’t believe how quick it got there
Is that really an excuse though a so named exclusive paint colour no its not. l got another exclusive painted Audi within 6 months a few years ago yeah times have changed but Audi are great at deflecting the truth just look at dieselgate so their not the most transparent company.. l am 3 weeks off a year since ordering lol personally speaking the longer I've waited the lesser the need/desire for the car the huge deposit I would be putting down on the finance has had my mind drifting on to what other more sensible projects it could be invested in to me the RS3 and all desirable cars for that matter are just purchased to feed one's own Ego.....and the waiting does give you time to think/reflect hence it'll be for sale prior to it arriving....if not cancelled ye can't miss what you've never had...lol

I kinda am.... Because I don't have ceramics or 5 year warranty which that car has.
I wouldn't have paid £50k when the A45s came out for an RS3 (or the a45). But life has changed (for us all) significantly since then, so I'm just enjoying life while I can and in this case it comes at a significant premium.
I justify it by saying I'll probably never sell it

It was offered in February so it’s bound to be another. Yep, still with Hereford Audi and just waiting and waiting and waiting! Lol.
Seems like a lot of US people who ordered in june/july/aug 22 are gonna take delivery before us..

Sadly true, not just US, includes other countries across the globe,
Coming near to a year since my order date. I’ve lost any reality of actually obtaining this car. I literally expect an email one day to say they can no longer fulfil my order
