couple new pics of mine for yers lads. as most of you know ive kept mine pretty simple as i wanted a subtle standard look. to do this i used the votex kit, 30mm springs, 3' dual exhaust, 19 RS6 wheels,xenons and tints. id love some coilovers so maybe ill get a set and itll be finished then. enjoy

Looks lovely, IMHO the standard kind of look is the best anyway :thumbsup: Did any B6's come in S-line? I thought was a B7 trim level?

And the rain adds to the pics I reckon!
 
Looking good chris, What % are those tints??

Only thing Id do now is some Polished Mirror's!Job done...
 
:sign_ot: sorry, but how does S-line differ from Sport spec? Is it just later models? If so when did they switch? I have never seen a B6 S-Line on the road ....

The B6 S-line came out as a stand alone run out model in March 2004. 1.8t 190ps only.

cheers lads, im not sure what % they are but i know there illegal lol. the fella done them much darker than what i wanted but they still look good : )
not sure on the polished wing mirrors dont like anything shiny or chrome on the car, not my cuppa earl grey

Id say 40% - 50% all round, looks well.
Hey chris its a shame you not into shiney bits, I took my lovely chrome surrounds off and was looking for new home aswell, ah well, guess Ill have to Ebay them.haha

What sort of condition are they in J7USS, are you just removing them due to the new look?

They've had it mate.
Yeah I was taking them off due to the new look.
Going down tomorrow to give it a good flattern & polish, fit my rims on Monday hopefully then all will be revealed!!

Looking good Chris, but I'd be tempted to add the black bonnet grill (still keeping the rings silver) it would match the bumper better. As on mine...

Take the SLine bade off the bonnet grill too. Just done mine and it looks better IMO - darker/meaner... Cant tell from the image but do you also have a black bumper grill too. Looks better without the chrome surround, again IMO...

Those mirrors look nice, don't they J7USS ??!

I didnt notice the mirrors until you said Stoaks, Thought I was the only one that had done it...but yeah they look sweet of course!:)
 
Someone's touchy... But very nice all the same. Would look good on my black A4 too!

I've seen this car about.....Did it originally come with just the front votex bumper?
few about now with the votex kit in Liverpool including the young lad who works with me. just got himself a 1.8T Q Sport in silver with the votex...so theres 2 identical cars in work.

and theres a delta cab in crosby...silver+votex'd.
 
...yeah chris was driving around Nose heavy for a while whilst looking for a rear Bumper (which I found for him eh chris ;))
 
he lives in my area then....pretty sure i remember seeing the car advertised up in kirkby too..
looks well with the xenons. need to get them for mine...after my glove box and DV.that both need replacing...just have to stop spending on the bike!
he should get in touch with me if he's after a remap..my mate runs TophTechnik/chiptuning/bhptuning.

Whats wrong with your Glovebox? has the hinge snapped?
 
aye. damper seized. hinge snapped. snapped one half of the armrest slip too...gonna try and repair it. the cost of replacing a leather lid is daft.

Common faults, happened with mine too, what annoyed me is the guy who owned the car before me managed ok and didnt break anything, I got it, 2 days laters I break my armrest clip, couple months after that I snap my hinge!!

Pm Andymac if you aint sure about the glovebox, I did the same repair as him, worked a treat.still gotta have a go at the arm rest!

im sure i saw your car parked up in garston a while back?? im based in mossley hill, but always up in bootle as a good mate lives there. so there a votex'd delta cab floating round crosby is there, :rockwoot:
yer i am interested in a remap but thatll have to wait a couple months, could you PM me some prices, mine is a 100bhp 1.9tdi. basically the paupers model due to insurance at 22 years of age lol cheers bud.

if ANYONE has a blank piece to fit the armrest hole in the centre console or a console from a non-armrest motor, i would give my armrest away free for it cos its the biggest piece of stupid crap to have in a manual car! I have never ever liked it and dont use it, the previous owner didnt either, so its like brand new but just in dark grey stuff wi red lighting inside.

Good chance it was outside mine in garston...originally from mossley hill myself.. uncle lives by mosville hence why i recognise yours...
yep. theres a tdi cab complete with delta cab signs knocking around crosby. I was gutted when i seen it...
lad in work has just got himself a 1.8T sport quattro...warned him of the thirst...he's 21 so most of his money goes on fuel/insurance.....
mine averages 18-20mpg now after the remap, but luckily i hardly use it.
Nothing like my old gt tdi! never had that lower than 34mpg!!
