Just got my VMR v710's sprayed up with a lava grey basecoat and a purple pearlescent over the top They have come out SOOOO lush!!! The pics don't do them ANY justice!!!!!
Blinkin ell!!!!! I reckon they will light up like the coca~cola lorry when the sun hits them!
Wow! Fantastic! they are gorgeous! Post pics when on the car, pref taken on a sunny day!.......
That's actually quite spooky.
I was in a wheel refurbers yesterday looking at some sample wheels there, and saw a wheel with a very similiar effect.
Wondered what it would look like on a car , hopefully, soon we will find out
I need to be convinced!!!
Beauty about this effect is that they sparkle in the sun and go bright purple, yet in the dark they go a real deep purple which looks gorgeous
So look ace anytime! Cant wait to see the pics, love things a bit different, something personal and unique! Great!
Well it`s different but as long as you like them sod what anyone else thinks. Hope you don`t scratch them as they will be a bitch to fix without a total respray.
Can't wait to see these Jords on the weekend
Me too - kinda tarty like glittery lipstick LOLI need to be convinced!!!
btw, stick with the current center caps or put the audi ones in?
Me too - kinda tarty like glittery lipstick LOL
Jord you know me & wheels, but these given the different light angle effects do look good mate, as mikey says feck what anyone else thinks, if you like, then thats all that counts end of fella, look forward to seeing on our next bout of mods.
looking forward to seeing them on at some stage mate. getting itchy feet now, i should have the car on wednesday and will get mine on asap. let me know how you managed to get round your nut problem!!!!
Very nice, Lava Gray is hard to find matching wheels...
Sooper nice mate. Well done
I think I like them. Yep, I do. :icon_thumright: I think.
I think the quality of the paint might be a bit dodgy though. Some of it has come off onto your hand!! (Post 14, first photo. )
Hat off to you on these but like others have said, it'll only be known how good they look once on the motor. First impressions is that they good mate.
Question - You said they are painted. So what's the difference between 'painted' and 'powder coated'? Mate of mine traded in his S5 for a Maserati GT a couple of weeks back and insisted the wheels were powder coated before he took delivery.. (I'll put some pics up somewhere on ASN) but wanted to know the difference as I suspect paint will chip\flake quicker than Powder coated? excuse the ignorance on this technicality.
Looking forward to seeing the wheels on mate.

Oh c'mon grumpy

No you're mixing us 3.2 boys up. I'm Mr Sarcastic, it's Paddy that's Mr Grumpy.
I just think they look a bit camp, not a fan of sparkly stuff.
