    Alloy repairs

Anybody got a link or an email address for a good alloy refurb company - Scotland if possible, UK if not. Only a small kerb scrape but doing my head in and need it fixed! I can send it (without tyre) as it's off the car - there's another one on the car I'll switch it with if the first one...

New 170 tdi Quattro first impressions....

I guess if people say they find that a problem then it must be true, but I have to agree - I'm around 6' 3", with fairly long legs too, and I just don't find them a problem at all. Plus with DSG I guess my leg is even further over more of the time... no clutch changing. However, I guess...

What car have you LEAST enjoyed

FIAT - Fix It Again Tomorrow :sorry: I've had a range of company cars for most of my 55 years, everything from an Escort to a BMW, and for their day all were fine. The one I liked least when I started paying for them, was my black 3 door Rav4. The heater didn't work on collection (they'd...

New 170 tdi Quattro first impressions....

Yes, always :icon_thumright: Me too, and I'd rather not be able to open the boot with keys in the ignition - that would mean some scumbag could pop it at the lights and be away with your laptop or whatever?? I thought most cars were like this now - even my Ford Puma's had this feature and...

    Audi Accessories Retrofit Pedals?

Sorry Marms, my mistake! How does it look with just the 2 pedals done and not the foot rest on the left? Do you have a photo lurking anywhere?

    Audi Accessories Retrofit Pedals?

I didn't think there was a 'DSG' version - isn't there a problem with the dead pedal?

A few questions for 2.0 TDI 140 Owners

Just a quiet word of support for K-Dash really. His 68mpg is clearly possible from my experience and my DIS photo. Neither of us are claiming it as a 'full tank average or possibility' we're just saying in certain circumstances it's perfectly achievable - mine was going to average 76mpg if I'd...

A few questions for 2.0 TDI 140 Owners

And no, my DIS is not faulty, a nice gentle drive, without traffic lights or speedy stop/starts, at night, taking it nice and easy to miss the stags. 96 miles since I filled up... you do the maths. 12 gallons to a tank(?) = 76 mpg if I could drive the same way for the rest of the tank :asskicking:
