Changing modes is definately doing something, in comfort mode if you rev the car it burbles when you let your foot off, doing the same in Dynamic causes pops and bangs and crackles (sounds like a a bowl of Rice Crispies) All good I suspect.

I have moved from a 3 door VXR to an S3 Sportback, and have to say no regrets going from 3 to five door, in fact it is more practical and was worth it my opinion.

I have to admit, they are very cool, and it definately helped the S3's cause over the Golf R
