    I don’t know if it’s been replaced before but no I don’t mind I was after an opinion as the chap said he thinks the solid conversions are better I’ve got no idea myself so just after advice and an idea on overall price

    Just looking on eBay I’ve found some dmf/clutch kit/csc kits for around 250 and clutch kits/solid conversion Kit for about 180-200 no idea myself so keen to know but just thought I’d check part prices quickly

    Hi all Just had a mechanic mate look at my car as it’s been jumping so thought maybe EGR valve , but when idling and when you press the clutch there’s a loud rattle /shake at idol and he said it’s the dmf reckons it’s a mega expensive job and might be worthwhile doing a solid flywheel...

    also no idea what it was like before I got it in terms of usage, don't think it was used as much as I use it. But yes certainly a lot of time is spent in rush hour style traffic but then it is followed by higher speed driving for about 30 mins

    I do about 70 miles a day, ish, northampton to leicester. The 3-4 miles in leicester centre is very start stop crawl, but the rest is 60-70mph roads.

    I have had my car for a year but the past 4 or 5 tests it has failed on the same thing, excessive smoke, before passing. The garage advised me to put some diesel cleaner in it (e.g. Wynns) and take it for a blast before the re-test. any idea what the underlying issue could be? Googling seems...

    Not many, 50 maybe I spoke to the manager at the garage and he apologised and offered us a free tyre for the one which needs replacing. Better than nothing
