From what I understand: WBAC price is the auction entry/reserve that they need to stand a chance of making a profit from a bid. Carwow & motorway are the auction exit price a dealer needs to stand a chance of making profit to retail.
Well, I've learned the new S3 is due Q3 of this year. Its likely the RS3 FL will come along at a similar time. I don't know what lead times are going to be like for RHD cars but historically they have been, somewhat shocking lets say...
TLDR I don't think I would see one my my drive before...
@rs3_snowflake please don't misunderstand - My opinion and experience of running catless downpipes has no relation to the effectiveness of safety of your product. I'm certain there are happy customers doing such without issue. I just don't like the sound, smell or part throttle boost character...
^ I'm not suggesting you can remove OPF without an emulator, It will absolutely go into limp mode. I am suggesting without ECU remap a catless downpipe is sub optimal and you would be better off using the OEM downpipe or Euro6 aftermarket downpipe instead.
With a high quality sports cat I would not expect the need for emulation or a notable smell. On a B9 Audi S4 I ran a 200 Cell Miltek made HJS downpipe with no tune (just boost control piggyback box) or emulator for 3 years without a single issue.
I assume this is the same situation as with all current gen crypto locked ECUs? No matter the tuner, they are sending them out behind the scenes to Finland / Russia for one time unlock services, reinstalling and flashing hence the savage prices.
I might be reading too much into this but I noticed that on the configurator you can move to the price summary and it states "prices as of 1st April 2024". This implies the facelift will be possible to order in the Spring time.
Just reading through this thread as research to see how this works for Audi. From experience of running OPF deletes on BMW's, they run fine (no cel or odd driving behaviours) with emulators after a OPF reset using the appropriate software (ISTA for BMW). Primary cat deletes however are a...
Hi all
Looking at coming back to Audi next year (previously owned a B9 S4 with a few modifications) from BMW.
I've always wanted a little RS3 saloon, the 8Y looks fantastic and moves the game on in the handling department as well which is a bonus.
The thing that holds me back and the reason...
