I don't believe you can replace the micro switch but I stand to be corrected. Personally I would suggest replacing the whole catch mechanism as its a lot easier.
Microswitch needs cleaning. From previous experience the microswitch can be a PITA to properly clean and sometimes the best way of fixing is to replace the bonnet lock mechanism. The lock mechanism can be bought for less than £40 and takes 10-15 minutes to fit
I had to use a puller to replace mine as the wiper arm would not budge. This is what I used, ok it's cheap and may hot last years but it does the trick.

I would either have a look on ebay for 2007+ onwards A3's being split out for parts (Rev C head onwards) or phone a couple of local breakers preferably a VAG specialist.

The gasket failed on my rear wiper motor corroding the boot lock so changed both for just over £100 (new parts) You can get a new wiper motor for about £70 from lincoln audio on ebay and it only takes 10-15 minutes to fit.
