    Locking wheel nut

Popped to the dealers and they leant me their set to see match one up so they can order the right one - there was about 16 or so in the case. Ordered one and back on with the proper wheel instead of having juggernauts tailgating me at 50 mph.

    Locking wheel nut

Anyone know how many designs there are for the locking wheel nuts? I think I just managed to lose mine with the space saver on the car. Can't imagine a stealer stocking at least one of every design - so maybe stuck to 50 mph for a while.

    Puncture Repair

Ok - went to stealer ready to be robbed - found out from brother that it is about 140-150 fitted for an Sline PZero Rosso (225/40 R18) from reasonable tyre shops. Told the stealer that its perfect and I expect it that way when they finish hence paying the stealer premium - confirmed it would be...

    Puncture Repair

Got a slow puncture on the wheel (SLine 18's). Question is should I take it to the dealer who will rip me off but I know would not kerb my wheel or take it to a side steet garage and get them to do it? Last time I took my old BMW to a small garage to change an 18 inchj wheel, they chipped and...

    Phatnoise Advice and Trickery

Not sure if its a pain in the **** - the dealer did it and I paid dealer over price for it (think about 600). I would have did it myself if I knew how cheap it was to source elsewhere. Don't notice the cost that much when it bundled into the cost of the whole car BTW - I've got the 8P SB.

    Phatnoise Advice and Trickery

Mine fits in the glove box - top right corner. Ask far as I am aware the software has a special encrypted file which ties in the hdd serial number to the cartridge thus a simple swap is not possible. I read this somewhere - possibly phathacks.

    CK3000 Evo and BOSE

Thanks for the reply again. Been great help. When I did my installation - if I remember correctly, there was four wires in the speaker harness, think it was the four middle pins. Would these be the output to the front and rear bose amps? A pair for the front speakers and a pair for the rear...

    CK3000 Evo and BOSE

About to help my bro fit a Parrot CK3000 Evolution kit into his A3 Sportback. I have already fitted mine in my SB wiht an old CK3000. I used the Autoleads 119B mute lead which has the tel speakers + and - as well as the mute lead. Just wondering can I skip the speaker wires to the tel + and -...

    Window Cleaner

Meguiars NXT glass cleaner. Just spray some on, and use a cotton cloth or microfibre cloth to polish off. No smearing and makes the glass super clean. Also has beading properties - similar to Rain-X. So when driving down a motorway, the water rides up the screen. I use it inside and outside...

    10 Pin ISO Plug?

Anyone know where I can source a bare ended 10 pin iso plug? I want to be a cheapskate and make my own telemute set of wires using such a plug to hook onto a Parrot CK3000 for my brother. The other option is to spend the 20quid for an autoleads ready made lead but thats about 20 quid + pnp. I...

    Parott Bluetooth

Ok - the fuse I tapped into was fuse number 30, looking at the key on the back of the removable panel, it has no description next to it so not sure what it was actually meant for. GARTHY : Picture of the switch Image of where the mic is If anyone has installed the mic in the central...

    Parott Bluetooth

I try and find out tonight If you can't wait: I just used the screwdriver/electrical thing and tried each empty fuse in turn (on both the fuse sides) to see which one lit up the 'screwdriver' when key was in accessories position and was off when key was in the off position. Guess also which...

    Parott Bluetooth

Sorry - issues wit digi cam so no pics yet. Its the CK3000 and the button panel is about 1 inch by half inch. Contains two buttons, one for answer and the other to hang up. I got mine on the dashboard behind the indicator stalk - just visible through the top of the steering wheel. Did consider...

    Parott Bluetooth

Eeef: No pics to show as I only have the CK3000. No screen - just the two button control module. I placed the buttons on the left side of the steering wheel. The mic comes out of the fuse panel, up the door trim (behind the felt like stuff - just prised it open and tucked the cable underneath)...
