I've not been on here for ages but had a 2011 1.8 TFSI, lovely car but was using a litre of oil every 2000 miles so iot went after 18 months. Only had about 45k on the clock at just under4 yrs old.
I bought a Diono Ultra seat protector from Halfords, you then also need something to protect the seat back in front of the child from their muddy shoes.
If you order on line you get the reduced price but it is full price in store...
Have a look at Honest John website as he lists good and bad points about most cars.
There is also a Q&A section where someone asked him a similar question recently and the answer was that a vocal minority have problems...
I've had one of the Audi rechargable torches (4F0947175) for a while and it has alway worked well with the cigarette lighter socket in my A3. I swapped it over to the 12 Volt accessory socket in another car and it won't stay in place. I know some websites say works in cigarette lighter sockets...

I can remember reading something similar years ago where was started and driven out of the garage then stopped and wouldn't restart. I thought it would only apply to petrol cars but excess fuel from cold starting and only running for a very short time could cause damage to the cat so the ECU...
Unfortunately it's now an MOT fail to have the DPF removed if originally fitted.
https://www.gov.uk/government/news/new-rules-for-mot-to-test-for-diesel-particulate-filter
