It seems unlikely that there wouldn't be any engine damage, if your handy with the spanners then a straight engine swap would probably be the way to go.. £150 is a bit low for scrap, you could make plenty more by parting it out yourself

Hello , A4 1.9 PD TDI 130 loosing coolant , no obvious external leaks from hoses etc , no mayo in the oil - strange additional symptom is that internal cabin vents red hot on passenger side and cold on driver side when calling for cabin cooling. Possibly a blockage somewhere ? water pump...

Looking to get a B8.5 A4 2.0 TDI 175bhp and have it Remapped _- Superchips is indicating 210 BHP and 430 NM - this sounds pretty decent, when chipped are the 2.0 much slower than a standard 3.0 TDI ?

I sealed mine up but in the end it kept failing, I got ****** off and got a modified tandem pump second hand off ebay from a 2009 A3 and fitted it - they have a modified fitting design that wont come loose.

I believe TT wheels have a different ET than A4 wheels , could also be an issue

You need a genuine copy of VCDS and cable to do the programming - have you got this ?

Have you used VAGCOM to do a scan , or some sort of generic handheld OBD device?

if its had a wack have you checked the crash sensors?
