Hi everyone
I have a 2012 Audi Q7 and the ABS light is on, and also ESP disabled (which is disabled automatically if there is an ABS fault I've come to learn!)
Scanned the car and it is showing several codes relating to ABS:

BTW, the Halford's bulbs do not state they are CanBus, BUT they are quite pricey compared to eBay ones, and Halford's don't need the hassle of returns etc, so they are probably CanBus compatible as standard, but they don't make a thing of it. When buying on eBay, they are cheaper, but not all...
Thanks for the input! Nice to get something locked down with a concrete answer Doesn't always happen!!
Yes, LED bulbs upgrade is a nice option HOWEVER, make sure that the bulbs you buy are CanBus compatible, otherwise it will throw a warning light on the dash every time you start the car The...
I saw this video online and so thought it should be easy to test?:

The car seems to drive ok, although it's a new car (to us) and so nothing to compare to.
The EGR valve is definitely ok. I've removed that, it was pretty clean to be fair, cleaned it up anyway, tested that...
Good news! Yes, the large bulb is daytime running, the tiny bulb in the top of the same cluster is sidelights. Xenon in the second cluster does both standard and high beam (bi xenon).
Or at least that's my set up :-)
Yes, I thought it might be. I'm goigto buy a cheap pressure tester kit from eBay (£12) and use it to see if that arm on the actuator will move whenmanual vacuum pressure s applied.
Hi guys!
Hoping you can help as need a little!!
Having some rough idling issues, especially noticeable when revving between 1,000 and 2,000 RPM's (stationary for testing).
I've had a look at the Turbo, more specifically the actuator that sits on top, and the arm (piston) that pushes downward...
That's very interesting! Maybe the cambelt timing was tweaked on the exhaust cam to set the fuel consumption correctly, and when the injectors were changed these would be more efficient as brand new and so throwing it out a bit.
In which case an adjustment to the exhaust cam could solve in...
Hey Allyn78
If your issue occurred after the cambelt change it's likely that the cambelt needs slight adjustment. Most likely on the inlet cam I believe.
Was the plate you used solid, i.e. no hole? Usually that should throw the engine light on?
Thanks guys!
Well, inlet manifold also removed and cleaned, again pretty tidy already.
Ran a quick check for vacuum leaks and could not find any.
I ran some injectors cleaner through the fuel and took readings from the injectors when engine warm a few days later, and getting decent readings...
