Who did the remap for you? There is a chance your car needs slightly different values than just uploading ready made map. I would also check camshaft adjuster magnets 06J109259A.
Once removed, the "nipple" in the middle of the sensor should move freely up and down when you turn it upside down...

I have no such option in my coding list so I gave up on trying to make it work...
I'm pretty sure the 2.0TFSI backbox will fit the 1.8 but I could be wrong.
Ulter does 1.8 backbox but it will be slightly louder than stock.

I would remove those two. They have a "nipple" in the middle which should follow the gravity, move freely when you shake it. If it gets stuck it means that it needs replacing. I would probably check the PCV valve if you have rough idle as well.

I'm not a fan of any dealership... When I left my car for this gearbox issue and speaker rattle investigation, they damaged the gear knob trim, left airbox bolts loose and hoses detached. Then it turned out that the door card trim is damaged but extended warranty does not cover "rattles" and...
Problem didn't come back after the "adjustments" so far but I doubt that they did anything apart from reflashing the software or something similar...
