Hi All, I recieved the splitter but was hit with a further £15 charges from fedex but ended up only paying £3 charges and them crediting the rest. More info check out my other post below.. P.s. Don't pay the clearance admin charges people...
The "weird wiggly marks" could be down to a previous owner doing a crap refurb.. sounds like very course sandpaper couldv'e been used prior to paint! If I was you, I'd refurb them and do them myself. I had a set in gun metal grey on my a4 and they looked good! :)
Does it have after market xenon lights? I had a cheap set on my old car (rx8) and it sent everything crazy.. esp light, airbag light , EML etc.. If so, it could be worth disconnecting and putting some standard halogen bulbs in just to test.
Right people, lets have a bit of fun with... Shot of the month (themed)! Be good to see some pics of everyones pride and joy's!
The rules are simple - It must be a pic of your car taken this month, not photoshop'd and based on the theme.
Theme - Countryside
GO!
50/50 probably would've been a bit better.. I had limo black and couldn't see jack **** out the back windows at night lol
Car looks really nice though mate!
Anybody got pressed plates on their A4 B6? It's another thing on the "maybe" list as not sure if I love or hate!
I always thought that they were illegal but after doing some reading up you can buy legal (mot friendly) ones from ebay for roughly £20!
Thanks for this chaps! I ordered two black ones from ebay and fitted them at the weekend.. First time I've ever been able to put my armrest up without emptying the contents into the back of my car!!
p.s. for anyone fitting them, drill a couple pillot holes first!
Thanks Deano. Just ordered one :) Did you cut the centre part out of your one?
I really like the cupra splitter but I just know that I will rip it off so need something with a bit more flex in it.. I'll just take my time fitting it and get it looking right!
