This is correct. Tuning without unlocking is not possible on this unit (PCR2.1). Others may be able to advise on external alernatives.
We have done many of these modules in the past, however our current busy schedule and other workshop commitments have forced us to filter...
You local garage should have a system that will allow them to look at the engine faults and relevant live data (dpf health/egr response/etc). They will then be able to advise on best action going forward, or of possible component issues.
Having dealt with the many issues caused by aftermarket products, we only install VAG concentrate. You'll get 4 or 5 tanks from a 1litre bottle, working out at ~£1/tank.
Just a note on cheap screenwash:
Over time it blocks the pump gauze, overworking the pump and causing issues that require a strip down to the tank to rectify. It also damages the system rubbers.

Yeh, I'd seen that page...Surprised there wasn't documentation for my code specifically. Will see how the actuator responds to actuation :D and will spin it round and do some logging.
