ESP Fault

I got a 2010 A3 TFSI S Tronic. When I turn on my car and leave the car in Park or Netural for over 10 seconds I get an ESP fault warning light coming up on the dashboard.

If I turn the car on and drive straight away nothing happens and it drives smoothly. Any ideas why this would happen?

If you don't have a cable have a look in the Vcd's section on the site , look at the map part and see if someone is close to you or within travelling didtance you to them then PM them and ask them nicely and usually you find the guys on here helpful and just drop them a few beer tokens .
