I actually have a spare flat bottomed wheel that is new if anyone is interested, I'll pop it on the classifieds under a reserved sale if anyone is. Hope you are all enjoying the car as much as I am :)
It won't allow the active lane centering to work as the flat bottomed wheels DO NOT have the required sensors and can't be retro fitted. This will just get rid of the SOS feature that is based on those sensors detecting if you are still holding the wheel.

I moved to the RSQ3 wheel and just uncoded the capacitive wheel. I also uncoded emergency assist. I didn’t move the sensor over as I’m keeping the original wheel and lane assist works.

Your right it is so much easier and does most but not all of what vcds but for changing that setting it’s worth the £50ish quid and you only need basic as there is an app that does it for 10 credits. Best money I spent was setting it to last memory
