as long as its not cracked then yeah it'l be fine.. pop into ATS or similar and get them to bang it straight, they'll use a lump of wood or a leather mallet, done loads of wheels like that in the past..
if you put the bolt through the wheel and add the spacer on with 5-6-7-8mm spacers there's still plent on thread showing to bolt into the hub, anything more then there's not a safe amount of bolt to hold the wheel to the hub.. i personally ran 8mm spacers on my old 18t for years with stock bolts...
no they'll be fine, up to 8mm your alright on standard wheels bolts, anything more get longer ones for definate... better safe than sorry as there only a couple of quid each :)
if spacers is what you want then your looking towards the right ones mate yes, got to be hubcentric as without you'll never get them central and at speed it'll feel like the wheels are coming off!!! although 5mm will make very little difference if your running standard wheels, you'l hardly see...
is he serious..!!! if so give him a slap and knock some sense into him, if he dont kill himself when it cracks in half he'll end up in an accident and hurt/kill someone else!! i wouldnt even but this back on my car if it had been welded up!! do the bloke a favour and chuck it in the bin... thats...
...i had a set of crap 10mm ones on the back of my s3 and at 100+ mph :busted_cop: it felt asif the rear wheels where trying to come off...(scared the **** out of me!) , they came straight off and in the bin and i bought some proper hubcentric ones.. worth spending the extra bit of money mate...
black one of them 3.. silver looks boring and the orange is abit look at me..... sprint blue is the coulor id have but then will you find a decent one for the money..??...
oooooooo someones been splashing out.. lol, looks lovely mate!! i know there's a few off to the nurburgring around easter time, check out Prawn's posts, there building a car to take over there, search prawns a3 track car/ Nurburgring toy, i fancy going along myself too :)
yeah i think the do its about 25 quid... and im 99% sure if you peeled the label off it'll be the same can underneath lol, porsche brakes are still red from the factory now. so i guess there still in? im thinking of doing mine gold tho?
spray it with break-cleaner , scrub it with a wire brush spray it off again, mask everything around it and go for it, i used high temp red spray paint from halfords... about £6 for a big can, easily did all 4 and there's some left over!!
