My S3 has finally arrived at my dealer, and will be collecting it next Friday. So looking forward to it.

I can confirm that the £500 deposit contribution is still available on the S3 Sportback, but it is a dealer contribution and not an Audi manufacturer contribution. I can't answer why the S3 Sportback is not available on the Audi Finance Calculator.

I am only having it fitted because it's free. I wouldn't pay for any factory fitted sat - nav system, because as already mentioned. portable sat - nav's are cheaper to buy new and certainly cheaper to update. As said many times before, specification of any car is down to personal choice.

From what I understand from my dealer, it's Audi who are fitting the Sat-Nav for free, as the standard spec has now changed. I would take this up with Audi directly if your dealer would agree to have it fitted for free.

Original BW was 45, but this has been brought forward to BW42 (which is next week), and I placed the order in July.

I have just received confirmation from my dealer that the SD Sat-Nav will be fitted FOC to my S3, even though I had not included it in my original spec. :yahoo:

I was looking on the Audi Website this evening, and it appears that the S3 Sportback now comes with Sat Nav - SD card based fitted as standard. I have asked my dealer to confirm if this is the case, and I expect, if it is, that this is because a facelift model is coming out next year.

I received an email from my dealer today, and my build week has been brought forward from 45 to 42, and should be delivered to my dealer in 4-5 weeks time. Happy days :yahoo:

If you can afford to, go for the B&O sound system. I have this system in my A4 Black Edition, and it is superb. I have opted for it in my new S3, rather than going for the sat nav.
