Its funny but as I mentioned, you dont seem to hear much about the drivers side so I assume the passenger side jams due to lack of use maybe???

I didnt realise that. Are they as easy to get to? It seems that its the passenger side ones that fail as I read quite a bit and saw no mention of the drivers side ones, although being climate control I suppose thinking about it its obvious really!

Thanks again guys, now sorted. It was located behind a clip on rooflining panel above the rear window, and it was indeed the amp had a split in the top plastic cover. I googled the fault and one guy had found that by pressing the board in a certain place that the radio started to work briefly...
