Naw, to block out the Light!!!

That' interesting! I would have thought the Quattro would be way superior over front wheel. Anyway, I found the Conti Winter Contact to be a good tyre but noisy! Is the Dunlop 5d a winter tyre or cold weather? If I were to do like you ,I would probably use a cold weather rather than winter...

The last one I used was the Supagard Proctetant and,have to say, with dog and kids there was never a mark left after umpteen spillages! Sadly none available on Ebay for the new Quattro so bought a bottle of sealed Lifeshine. Will have to wait and see how this stuff works.

GSB, you raised a point that I have meant to ask for some time. That is, does any Quattro driver change tyres for winter and, if so, what tyres do they use for slippery conditions?

All a matter of opinion I suppose but my choice would be the Conti's, have run them on most of my cars when I had the choice. Also run them on my Landrover. Impeccable is what I say! One other tyre I like is the Dunlop Ultra Grip. More a Cold weather tyre but here in Scotty Land there is no...

I recommend Scholl S3 with their pads. Fantastic product. Polishedbliss has it for a very reasonable price.

I would agree GSB, the anticipated "facelift" is a let down and hardly worth the effort. As for previous comments re pre-facelifts taking a "major hit", a load of twaddle!
