Hi Folks

So ...I have never used a DA polisher before, but its time to get these swirls out of my paintwork. I have a Pearl Misano Red 2015 Audi S3. Car is covered in swirls so its needs a full going over. The swirls are light and there are no major scratches to remove. Things I need advice on are:

1. My brother bought this DA polisher (http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4645777.htm). I don't see any issues with this as it seems to do the same as any other DA. Anybody disagree?
2. What type of pad do I need to use?
3. What compound do I use?

Looking forward to hearing from the experienced detailer's :hi:

I recommend Scholl S3 with their pads. Fantastic product. Polishedbliss has it for a very reasonable price.

I did a correction on mine recently. Took all the advice of starting with the least aggressive pad & polish and work up. I found the only way to remove them was a heavy cut pad and polish then move down to a medium/light polishing pad & finishing polish to remove any marring caused by the cutting phase

If the swirls are very light then I'd try Megs Ultimate Compound with a light cut pad first. I know Audi paint is notoriously hard but better to start light and work up.
