Brand new 034Motorsport B8.5 RHD X-Brace, box opened but that's it. Purchased from AwesomeGTI a while ago and just never used. Looks to be £480 from ML Performance (only place I could find it), so I dunno lets say £350 plus delivery? Will accept offers as to be honest, not really sure what...

Probably also the case with a lot of the extras, people just assume the thing they got is standard, or even if they know it is an extra it doesn't seem to add much value which is a shame. Extras must effectively depreciate like crazy.

Yeh I tend to think this is the case :) I sold a jetski a few months back with an awesome exhaust on it, presumed the person buying it knew - they hadn't got a clue. They got a right good bargain considering. Hey ho

Oh I'm literally driving on to them in my garage. I presume there is no issue doing this but wanted to be sure :) I mean actual ramps as well, e.g. these:

I'm more wondering if it's ok to drive the car up ramps without having the arms torqued at the time. I can't see why not, but then again I'm not a mechanic! I think I will only use ramps on the front.

TL;DR - can I replace the control arms, tighten (but not torque) the bushings, reattached the wheels, drop the car, drive it on a set of ramps, then torque them up whilst on the ramp? Hey all, I've got to do some lower control arms. Admittedly this is on a Q5 but I'm posting here as I know...
