I previously had an A4 petrol which had oil consumption issues. I sold that and got into a Range Rover. I’m now up for another Audi but the first one I look at has the same problems!! It’s a 2009 A5. This has now put me off buying any Audi full stop.

Had the S4 2011 with 50k on the clock 4 weeks now. Thankfully it has extended warranty. During these 4 weeks the ventilation cover (£930) and DSG mechatronic (£2,000 circa) have had to be fixed with me forking out £250 excess each time. Do I keep her or jog her on!?!?!?!?

last week they replaced the ventilation cover £930 This week the mechatronic needs replacing. Waiting on cost Thank God it has Audi extended warranty. Excess is £250 but I’m quids in so far After this it should be bullet proof?!? Otherwise I will sell it on

ATF oil, is this the same as gear box oil? I only ask as my gearbox oil was changed at 36k miles and I’m wanting to remap my car. Is a gearbox service only the change of oil? Andy

As above car feels like its going to stall IE starts juddering. Nowt happens, it doesn't actually stall. Feels like its a manual and you don't quite get the throttle hard enough. Mines a 2011 automatic S4 Any ideas? Thanks Andy
