But linear springs and progressive springs behave differently. I've messed about with custom bikes and aftermarket shocks for them and back in the day there was always a 'linear' vs 'progressive' debate as the results were different. Would be the same scenario with cars..

I know what you mean, I had the front end off when we finally offered the honeycomb grill up to the front end and upon inspection even trying to release the grill itself from surrounding part would have been a disaster as all the tabs lookedike they'd snap

******.... Do you know the differences between the pre face A3 8P non S Line and the S Line as I'm wondering why they manufacture a honeycomb grill for one but not the other?

It does but because they are progressive springs, although they lower the car they give a better ride

Had my 8p booked in yesterday to have its eibach sport line springs fitted as the s line ride was waaay too hard plus I had bought a new honeycomb grill so I thought I may as well fit that whilst there at the garage Turns out that it was a good idea to change the springs as the rears had...

Currently my 2008 8P has no option for auto or DRL lights, is it possible to retro fit these options or is it more hassle than it's worth? If it's possible, what is needed for the change over?? Thanks

Hello ErenS3, these are my lights, they look a bit dated, hence wanting to bring them up to date. Not too sure if a later A3 light would work or if I should just buy the projector lights off ebay?

Upgrade. I have a 2008 S Line and am in the process of updating the car, currently have a few bits one of which is a honeycomb grille. I want to upgrade/update my headlights as this is all new to me what are my options?? Can I buy a plug and play light or would I need coding once fitted...

Because out of the 4 listings the only one that has 2.0 Tdi is the one I listed, one of the others has 2.0 TFSi

This is all new to me, my engine code is BKD and the car is a 2.0 TDi , 3 door? There are 4 part numbers , on their site , the only one that states 2.0 Tdi is the list that I have attached??
