What is the Mechanical difference between the 210bhp and the 225bhp versions of the S3? reason im asking is that I've just had an insurance quote for a 1999 S3, not sure whether its the 225bhp version (are the 225 all 2002 onwards?)

I dont know when this started as i usually have my music on quite loud but this morning i didnt have the stereo on and i could hear a faint rattling kind of noise coming from the front passenger wheel area, its not the noise of plasticy rattling more of a deeper noise, i cant really explain it...

guys im gonna be buying a HID kit from JBR this christmas and was just wondering which above bulbs are which? is it H1 - sides, H4 - Headlights, H7 - Main Beam? i already have the LED sidelights and they look **** poor next to normal headlights so which 6k kit do it buy? cheers

whenever i used to press the "heat windows" button the little compressor icon would also be turned on but now it doesnt, and whenever i press the compressor button the icon will only stay on if i hold the button in and go off when i release it, i take it the compressor is knackered?

i discovered a bonnet chip today whilst washing the TQ, its about half the size of your little fingers' nail, would i be able to just touch it up of is it a job for the shop?

Can anyone explain the characteristics of the different engine types, i know the AGU lump is supposed to have weak water pumps etc, mines an AJQ, can anyone shed info about this one?

On MRC's website it shows the remap for my TQ to bring out 225bhp and 230lb/ft, the torque i can believe but i cant see a remap being able to put the TQ into S3 territory, has anyone had a remap off these guys that can comment? or indeed anyone else that can comment? Cheers :blackrs4:
