Thank you, I have had a price for pressure testings which worked out about £150, but thinking if I can diagnose one via vcds I can put that towards replacements
I have an intermittent idle issue where it feels like a missfire, I have read about measuring blocks 72-77 but not sure on how to read the data, can anyone help?

Perfect thanks for your help, I wonder if I do a leak off test at idle and see if any stand out, I read the injectors aren’t very good on the early ones, I wonder if they are a direct swap from a later version or not?

I have a 2005 3.0 tdi quattro and it has an intermittent rough idle, doesn't smoke just feels like its missing, drives absolutely fine and no fault codes on VCDS, any ideas or any tests i can run on VCDS?

i have a 2005 A4 3.0 tdi quattro and the front pinch bolt has completely seized, I’m going to get another alloy upright/carrier? so I can replace it, I can’t find a part number and what other variants share the same part? Thanks
The new one is an4? Journal bearings need I think about 1.5mm if you have a drill bit that size see if it fits in the hole? Don't want to be any smaller than that
I would measure the hole size and if it's bigger than an4 personally I wouldn't use it, I've ran an4 on multiple journal bearing turbos without issues but not any bigger so I don't know if it'll cause issues tbh
Only normally need a restrictor on a ball bearing turbo, other one looks pretty big, is it an an10 size? Looks like it could be an oil drain size rather than a feed, I've always ran an4 for oil feeds
