About alltyresandwheels2010 - they gave me a partial refund of £20 which makes it a reasonable 'second hand deal'. I had taken pics to back up my complaint but they didn't ask for any evidence. If they sort out their packaging I reckon they'd be a good bet.

Thx for the info Mike. Mine is chain drive so I shouldn't worry about it. I've had quite a few motors in my time (belt and chain) and have never had to replace the water pump in any of them. Is this just another scaremonger tactic by Audi dealers to get more out of our wallets?
