Regularly do well over 120 without burning any oil. there's a corrugated breather on the top of the engine, it's common for it to distort and can cause a loss of oil. although burning a litre is very very high usage on oil.

personally i use valvoline 5w30 fully synthetic. bout 10er a litre with my trade rate applied. i change my oil and filter every 3-5k anyways

sorry it's a 2.0tfsi quattro. the software etc i have some that will do me a remap with the k04 turbo on, and im getting a full stainless custom exhaust on it so what do you think i need to do on top? also, i understand if you're gonna wind it up a lot you need a steel bottom end?

Sounds like the alternator belt. That belt won't run the starter motor, it runs the alternator and a/c normally. Try some WD40, if not expect a new fanbelt and possible tensioner.

Changing the turbo when i do my full exhaust system, was considering an S3 turbo, is this a direct fitment? Anyone selling one? Help would be appreciated.

The bearing is a concentric slave cylinder design.. Is there any irregular noises? Try putting your foot down on the top inch or so of the pedal? Any irregular noises then? Any change in pitch when the clutch pedal is depressed fully etc? Entirely possible it needed a clutch and dual mass...

ah i like that. what exactly will i need? is it the K04 turbo unit? what about if i wanted to be double dirty, buy a second hand one and send that off to be turned into a hybrid? What do you recommend regarding intercooler? And then when i get this car up to scratch with possible S3 hybrid...
