Definately an engine that needs to be revved to exploit its power. I went from a S4 to the RS4 and noticed the lack of low down torque but further up the rev range well.... Saying that putting it into dynamic mode and the gearing helps to negate the lack of low down torque. Dont get me wrong...

Sounds like the blipping of the throttle to match the revs on downshifts. The car does this in dynamic mode to keep you in optimum revs

Why they closed the order book a;ready is still a mystery. Maybe to make space for B9 production. Who knows. The current b8 RS4 has been out since 2012 so 3 years for the run out halo version sounds about right.

Order books officially closed for the rs4 hence no configurator. Seems most owners love them but there have been some of the old gremlins from the B7 like the DRC issue. I think if you buy now deals are there to be done

True but thats goto be nearly 10k you put into the car the get that result. Probably still cheaper than a RS4 though, Wonder what an RS4 would do if you put 10K worth of mods into it. I guess its just all down to personal pref.

From what I remember of Chris Harris video the Revo map put it on level terms with the RS4 Like Allanmb says if you start tweaking the RS4 then you will see the difference again. But then again dial into it the price of the RS4 and mods then the idea of an tweaked S4 is very sound. Not sure I...
